We're pretty tired.  If it was just the jet lag, i think we'd be ok but this Maccabi USA organization which I'm finding is not directly connected to The Maccabiah Games, seems to be on a "mission" to run us ragged so that we will barely be able to walk let alone ride by the time we get to the race.  I understand that the organization has a Zionist agenda but what I underestimated was how little of an athletic agenda they have.  Never the less, they've dragged busloads of bleary eyed, jet lagged gymnasts, marathoners, triathletes, cyclists, volley ballers, basketballers, etc. around to some interesting places.

I wish I could tell you about the historical significance of some of these sites but to be honest, I was too tired to absorb much of what the tour guides were telling us.  The sites below include the impressive reception we received at the airport, a view high above the city of Jerusalem, a visit to the Yad Vashem holocaust museum, spelunking in the caves at Morasha National Park and a short ride with the US Triathlon team.  Oye, don't get me started!

I'm a little too tired to fill you in on the details so how about some good pictures instead?
